I'm not sure how it is going to go on Tuesday, I'm not trying to be coy or cute, I am wondering how many people are going to show up to vote not just here but across the city. Many people seem surprised to learn there is an election Tuesday. It surprises me that in this day in age when so many people don't trust government that this would be the case. Perhaps it is just local politics that nobody care about...But all politics are local aren't they. Or, perhaps people just don't know or don't care.

I will be out once again doing doors tomorrow. I have a few more blocks to hit and I will be done. I feel I owe it to the voters to have a face to put with the name, although statistics tell me that many of the people that will vote here in the 5th district this Tuesday have probably seen my name on the ballot before. I want to show people I am serious and that I do not take the fact that I am unopposed for granted. It also means a lot when you hand someone your phone number and tell them to call you when they have a problem, that personal aspect would lead me to believe they are more likely to do it. I need to hear about issues first hand, I will be representing a constituency; not a personal agenda.

Finally I know that many of you who read this blog probably won't follow much anymore after Tuesday. I plan to keep this going after the election so please feel free to stop in or RSS feed it to yourself. I have found the blogging experience to be enjoyable and therapeutic, and who couldn't use a little more joy or therapy?

See you on Tuesday.
